Appellants were tried and convicted of professional gambling in the Lake Criminal Court on December 12, 1966, and appealed to this court. On appeal, the conviction was affirmed but the judgment and order committing appellants under the sentence imposed by the Lake Criminal Court was vacated since the trial court had failed to conduct a precommitment investigation pursuant to Ind. Ann. Stat. Â§ 9-2252 (1969 Supp.). On remand a precommitment investigation was ordered and subsequent thereto appellants were again ordered committed.
